Please give at least 3 months notice to the priest if you intend to marry in the Church. Civil Law also requires that a couple give at least 3 months notice to the Registrar of Marriages. Locally this can be done at Stranorlar by calling 074-9189554 or at Letterkenny by calling 074-9124576 or indeed at any Registrar’s Office within the jurisdiction. Both parties must attend the appointment with the Registrar and to have with them photo ID.
